PART OF THE COMMUNITY

Woodsboro Auto Repair has been serving the community of Woodsboro since 1991. The company originally rented a much smaller space in the same building we are currently located.

Founder Paul Metzger, purchased the building in 2001, from Charles and Diane Stover. Upon purchase Paul began renovations into the now 4 bay, 3 lift shop. A spacious waiting and reception area were added, along with 2 bathrooms and an office.

Woodsboro Auto Repair has supported many of the local schools, the Lions Club, the Woodsboro Fire Department, the Ruritans Club, the Rec. Council, Hope Alive, Goodwill Industries, and most recently supported the 2014 Woodsboro Historical Society 5K run.

OUR OWNER AND FOUNDER

Woodsboro Auto Repair was founded in 1991 by Paul Metzger. Paul had worked for a number of garages and dealerships in Frederick and surrounding areas prior to opening his own shop. He has been an ASE Certified Master Technician and Maryland State Inspector For over 25 years. Those shops include Watkins Burdette, Jenkins Motors, Jones Motors, Callan & Cramer, JC Penny Auto Center, Mt Airy Mobile, and Walkersville Exxon.

Paul had longed to work for himself and wanted to open a shop close to home and his daughters schools. He found a reasonable space to rent and opened shop in February 1991.

Thanks for a job well done. It's good to know people that do good work and you can count on.

Donald H. Frederick MD
